As the Senior Manager, Tax Product you will create the vision and strategy for products and processes, based on understanding Paylocity's business needs anchored in the internal user. As a key leader you will mentor Tax Product Teams, help them define what needs to be built, and champion the vision to our Product and Tech partners. You will convey a clear and compelling narrative and an enthusiasm for relentlessly delivering improvements to the user experience. You will demonstrate accountable ownership, unmitigated curiosity, a strong desire for continuous improvement, and the ability to think strategically about our products while empowering and leading others to do the same.
Responsibilities:
Define the internal and external user experience to conceptualize new features or enhance existing workflows which allow our business to scale Develop the vision and strategy for products based on business needs Work cross-functionally and within the Tax organization to prepare and execute against corporate initiatives. Assist with development of strategy to provide scalable solutions required to support growth and maintain high service levels. Facilitate product planning and guide stakeholder interactions Develop user acceptance testing plan across Development teams and Product teams Provide guidance to establish overall release goals and facilitate a release plan of functioning software across Product/Tech, Tax Product team and Operations teams Drive continuous improvement. Share lessons learned and contribute to the development of our product and processes Facilitate longer-term career plans with each direct report, support their development and find opportunities for team members to fulfill their goals Develop a strategic plan for talent alignment, growth and succession, in support of both the projected needs of the teams in the future and the potential of team members Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Work Experience 10
years of experience within payroll industry Prior experience leading, growing, and empowering talent to develop a strategy and vision and incrementally deliver outcomes. Experience working in an agile environment Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, dependability, and follow through Ability to effectively solve problems by finding and using key resources Ability to analyze data for high-level problem resolution Preferred Requirements:
Experience in a player/coach role in which you regularly sought input from users and other stakeholders (sales, service, partner teams), defined acceptance criteria, provided product direction to team members, and coached through similar activities Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new technologies/internal software systems and identify user applications Soft Skills:

Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
TaxEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
