The Driver Helper will assist our Route Delivery Drivers with unloading and delivering product to our customer accounts.
The primary role of our Delivery Drivers and Delivery Helpers is to provide excellent customer service to our awesome customers by making prompt and courteous deliveries.
Positive interaction with our customers is a MUST as is performing all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Daily Responsibilities Arrive to work on time and ready to serve your customers.
Arrive to work appropriately dressed as advised by the Route Supervisor or Director of Operations.
Assist the Route Delivery Driver with complete delivery to customers in a safe, courteous and customer-oriented manner.
Assists in maintaining good housekeeping of vehicle and delivery area while following food-safety procedures.
Assists with the loading and unloading of product.
Will assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.
Follow all standard operating procedures as advised by company guidelines.
Job Requirements Full-Time Availability (must be available early mornings and approx 10 hours per day) Valid Driver's License Must be at least 18 years of age Must pass a pre-employment drug screen High School Education or Equivalent Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50lbs; although average lifting is 20lbs or less Must be able to read and count accurately and perform simple mathematical skills Must conduct and complete all assigned tasks with competency Must perform all tasks SAFELY!
