Full Time - 40hrs/week About Us - Professional Development Professional Development Department empowers clinicians, staff and the healthcare community to perform at the highest level of one's profession by providing high quality educational opportunities Our clinical and non-clinical staff integrates adult education experiences through research and proven instructional methods of simulation, active learning and reflective thinking Each year, more than 2,000 Freeman employees are enrolled in our programs ranging through orientation, annual certifications and employee skill development Our department effectively manages more than 4,000 employee transcripts and engages a wide range of system employees in developing Individual Learning Plans What You'll Do Supports the core functions of Professional Development Department by developing and maintaining a high-level of understanding of Freeman Health System's Learning Management System (Professional Development Tracker), soon to be Workday Learning Management System, as well as the information and business needs of the office.
Assists prospective and current students inquiring about PDD classes and transcript related issues.
Provides direct services to FHS employees and community members who wish to register for courses or programs.
Assists instructors with their curricular needs regarding ordering of required textbooks or equipment and reserving audio/visual equipment.
Works with departments across the health system to schedule job shadows.
Requirements Knowledge typically obtained through a high school diploma.
Preferred Requirements An Associate's degree, preferably in Business, Management, or Computer Information Systems.
2 years Business office experience Customer service experience.
