Job Summary &
Essential Functions:
The IT Technician Intern provides Information Technology support to assigned performance center(s).
The support responsibilities include hardware, software, account management and data backups.
Thisposition may be assigned projected related tasks to support specific needs ofthe business including infrastructure, security or network related systems.
Perform project related tasks and objectives to support business needs - may include infrastructure deployment projects, updates or upgrades; security level projects - deploying systems or services; or other IT related projects.
Perform end user support tasks such as computer hardware acquisition, deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and replacement.
Maintain Active Directory User Accounts, Security and Distribution Groups and related change requests.
Supports data backup and rotation.
Prioritize, schedule, review and ensure the timely and effective resolution and documentation of issues and requests logged into the IT Help Desk ticketing system.
Provide support for Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) and related applications, desktop printers, scanners and faxing.
Provide support for mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets.
Provide basic support for Voice Over IP (VOIP) phones.
Support server room operations when directed including user account administration, data backups, restores and backup media rotations.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all active systems excluding devices or systems directly supported by a vendor like copiers and other highly proprietary systems and devices.
Skills & QualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceoPrefer Associates Degree or two (2) years of college in Technical Field.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prefer six (6) months of experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving issues with Intel and Microsoft Windows based server and client hardware and operating systems.
Required Licenses / Certifications US Person status required.
ITAR / EAR Regulated.
Microsoft Certified Server Administrator (MCSA) certification for 2012 or 2016 is preferred.

Certifications preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities IT Help Desk ticketing system experience preferred.
Basic Microsoft Active Directoryand related technologies and services such as TCP/IP, DHCP, Domain Name Service (DNS) preferred.
File and print services experience preferred.
Anti-Virus application management and support experience preferred.
Basic Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 account administration skills preferred.
Able to install Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems and applications like Office, Visio, Project, ERP clients and engineering software.
Experienced with data backup and restore principles, technology and methods including backup job and media management preferred.
Experience with deploying PC / Laptop workstations.
Able to multi-task, think creatively and work proactively as part of a cross functional team both within and outside of the I.
T.
department.
Must be detail oriented, able to take direction and prioritize while multi-tasking.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to thoroughly document issue recognition and resolution including adding to standardized knowledge base articles and internal wikis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
