Other Locations:
Dispatch drivers/trucks to destination to ensure that freight is picked-up/delivered on time.
Monitor fleet scans to ensure issues are identified and addressed promptly.
Communicate and document all service and safety issues in a prompt manner.
Receive telephone calls and OBCS messages from drivers and respond with appropriate information/action or direct call to the proper personnel.
Check assigned freight to assure the completeness and accuracy of the load information and inform proper personnel if corrections are needed.
Approve and record driver''s pay for loading/unloading and stop-offs.
Authorize driver advances for ComChecks or ATM withdrawals.
Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.
Schedule: Nights/Weekends Shift is TBA
JOB GRADE: S3
Knowledge of FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations).
Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian geography.
Knowledge of Windows-based software.
Effective communication skills to perfrom job functuons.
Previous work expericence and/or knowledge of the transportaiton industry preferred.
High school diploma or equivalancy required.
Regular and timely attendance.
