Gave full attention to my customers, by giving them direct eye contact.
I learned and succeeded on working the grills and conducting safe sanitation routines.
Handbags & More July 2016 — Sep 2016 Cashier
I shortly worked at Handbags & more to increase my skills on working retail and how to approach my customers with full confidence.
I wanted to see how comfortable I would feel and to see if it's something I wanted to continue working on.
After the experience, I feel good and know that this is something that I can handle, and would love to go into if my nail classes isn't something I would hoped it'd be.
I like to write poetry and let people know that they are not alone in this world, and not to give up no matter how hard life is.
I love to read books.
I sketch and sing and dance and communicate with those around me. I like the outdoors and definitely don't mind staying inside either.
I try and fix problems, but if my company is not wanted I will not force it upon others, cause I would like the same for myself.
I always like to see the good in people.
I don't ask them personal questions about their life, or what are their future plans. Or why aren't you doing this and that. That isn't my place and none of my business to begin with, I stay in place and will not force a relationship upon others.

INFORMATION ABOUT ME
My name is Nu'Kerra Baker,
I am 17 years old and will turn 18 on Oct 19th. I got my own apartment at 16 years old, I participated in school activities such as being a Fushion leader and Show Choir.
A fushion leader is a person who puts their time and effort into freshman kids, encouraging them not to drop out of High School, and letting them know that they are not alone. Fushion leaders are trained by teachers with experienced on handling serious cases when dealing with freshman, many freshman kids are suicidal, self-destructive behaviors and so on.
Show Choir is a dancing and singing class where we compete at other schools in Missouri. I became a fushion leader because I wanted to show those kids that they are not alone. My mother died in my arms when I was 15 years old, I choose to have no relationship with my biological father, but I do know him and his whereabouts. I was put into states custody mainly due to me trying to have a suicide attempt. I've been through all types of abuse. That being said, I don't want condolences nor grief, just to prove to the people that I am a hard and determined worker and very serious on what I put my mind into. I plan on graduating early in school this coming December. Then taking nail technician (Manicuring) classes in January and February.
